Yuhu Cold Chain Debuts as Group Exhibitor at the 34th Guangzhou Fair, Platform Model Empowers Merchants to Expand into the Greater Bay Area Market
2026-08-21 to 2026-08-23
On 23 August 2026, the 34th Guangzhou Fair (commonly referred to as the “Guangzhou Fair”) concluded successfully at the Canton Fair Complex. As an industry representative of Huadu District, Yuhu Cold Chain made its appearance in Hall 1.2, Zone A, organising 16 park merchants to exhibit together. Over the three‑day exhibition period, the booth received over a thousand groups of visitors, including procurement officers from restaurant chains, leading e‑commerce platforms, and distributors from other regions – demonstrating the notable effectiveness of the platform‘s group exhibition model.
Custom‑Built Booth Brings Park Merchants Together for Collaborative Exhibition
This year’s Guangzhou Fair focused on three major tracks: technology, health, and consumer goods. The total exhibition area reached approximately 200,000 square metres, bringing together over 5,000 exhibitors and nearly 10,000 professional buyers, with more than 50 provincial and municipal government delegations participating. The fair featured multiple themed exhibitions covering rural revitalisation, consumption assistance, geographical indication products, and food cold chain, bringing together stakeholders from production, distribution, and consumption sides.

Leveraging this comprehensive exhibition platform, Yuhu Cold Chain organised its merchants to present their offerings under a unified custom‑built booth. Products brought by the merchants – including imported beef and lamb, seafood, prepared dishes, and processed foods – were displayed in a centralised manner, allowing buyers to inspect samples, request quotations, and conduct negotiations on site. A professional team was also present to provide systematic explanations of cold chain supply chain solutions and park investment policies, covering core service modules such as warehousing and distribution, customs declaration and clearance, and supply chain finance.
The group exhibition model adopted this time meant that merchants were not required to individually prepare booths, arrange construction, or manage on‑site operations. Instead, they were able to present their products and services through the platform‘s unified exhibition framework, effectively lowering the barriers to participation and helping merchants establish initial trust and cooperation with buyers more quickly.
Connecting Supply and Demand – Platform Capabilities Empower Merchants to Expand Markets
As a core hub of the cold chain food supply chain in the Guangdong‑Hong Kong‑Macao Greater Bay Area, Yuhu Cold Chain leverages its park’s over 400 resident merchants and its full‑temperature‑zone digital and intelligent warehousing and logistics system to provide one‑stop support for participating merchants, covering everything from product display to resource matching.
Mr. Shao Dian, head of Guangzhou Xianfu Food Co., Ltd., commented: “When we exhibited on our own in the past, booth preparation and client engagement demanded a great deal of effort. By exhibiting with Yuhu Cold Chain‘s group model, we not only gained a unified brand presentation platform, but the platform also brought in diverse buyer traffic and assisted with connecting warehousing and supply chain resources – significantly improving our business matching efficiency.”

Service Continues Beyond the Fair – Jointly Exploring Vast Opportunities in the Greater Bay Area
Immediately after the fair concluded, Yuhu Cold Chain initiated the follow‑up of buyer leads and business conversion efforts. All buyer contacts gathered during the exhibition will be followed up individually, and interested potential partners will be invited to visit the park for on‑site inspections. Market feedback collected from merchants will serve as an important reference for the ongoing iteration of the platform‘s services.
Based in the Guangdong‑Hong Kong‑Macao Greater Bay Area, Yuhu Cold Chain will continue to leverage its role as a pivotal cold chain supply chain platform, integrating resources from production origins, cold chain warehousing, and distribution channels. By bringing park merchants closer to the market and helping them expand their sales networks, the platform empowers merchant development through its integrated capabilities, streamlining the supply chain from production areas directly to the Greater Bay Area dining table, and working hand in hand with park merchants to seize new market opportunities arising from the industry cycle.
